Problem

[edit]

LNG terminals are the end of the chain of LNG, i.e. regasification terminals. But in the list, I notice many liquefaction plants. That bugs me, I think the whole article is therefore not valid.

I agree that this is a problem. I proposed that the article name should be changed to 'List of LNG plants and terminals'. Do you agree? --Robbin' Knowledge (talk) 19:19, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See http://www.globallnginfo.com/World%20LNG%20plant%20&%20terminal.pdf for a fuller list —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.69.16.174 (talk) 18:44, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't we aim for as complete a list as possible?

[edit]

Edit by Hu12 on 31 May 2008 removed many of the terminals listed, including various information associated with these. I'm just a beginner on wiki etiquette (like WP:NOT and WP:NOTDIR), so maybe there is some other way that this list should be presented in Wikipedia? Pakaraki (talk) 07:48, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Japan, Korea and Taiwan?

[edit]

There seems to be no mention here of the 23 regas terminals in Japan, yet Japan accounted for 39% of all LNG imports in 2007. Likewise, no mention of South Korea (15% of global trade) or Taiwan (5%). A more complete list would be more helpful.--Vvmodel (talk) 11:48, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Spanish LNG terminals

[edit]

According to https://www.export.gov/apex/article2?id=Spain-energy "Spain regasification capacity counts for 40 percent of the total LNG regasification capacity in the EU."--So9q (talk) 19:53, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
